Create a Video Promoting Summer Reading!

This Year's Theme: Imagine Your Story
Create a video promoting the 2020 Summer Reading Club and you could have your video
featured at all Ridgewood Elementary schools AND an exclusive prize!
All entries must be submitted by Wednesday, April 8, 2020 to be eligible for consideration.
Movie files or link to your video can be sent directly to rgwdteens@gmail.com.
All completed entry forms must be submitted at the children’s service desk.
Video Criteria:
All videos must:

Be 1-3 minutes long
-
Promote the idea of using Ridgewood Public Library and reading this summer
-
Include your own interpretation of the SRC theme “Imagine Your Story"
-
Be appropriate for viewing by audiences of all ages
-
Include the process of how to participate (details below)

HOW SUMMER READING CLUB WORKS:
-
Read for at least 30 minutes a day for five days. Keep track of how many books you read in those five days.

Visit the Library and tell the SRC assistant how many books you’ve read.

You’ll receive a sticker for your passport around the children room and a prize.

Move your book to the next destination in the children’s room.
Video will be judge based on:

Be creative!

Make sure the message is clear and relevant

Be motivational and inspiring

Have a strong impact
Prize:

One winner will be selected by your Children and Teen department librarians.

Winning submission will receive a gift card (amount TBA) as well as bragging rights to be shown during all promotional use and school visits for 2020 Summer Reading.
