FALL 2019 - Spring 2020 ESL Program is full*
*Ridgewood residents: to be placed on a Wait List,  pease stop by the Reference Desk to fill out an application. 

Personalized Lessons: 

1 to 1; Beginners only. 
Students meet with our trained volunteer tutors once a week.


Classes in small groups: 

Up to 3 students/class; Advanced beginners to intermediate. Once a week.


Conversation Groups

Up to 6 students/class; Intermediate to advanced. 
Once a week.


Everyday English

Up to 10 students/class; Advanced beginner to low intermediate 

Concentrating on the essentials of reading, writing, speaking & listening.

Class meets twice a weeks for 8 weeks.

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30 - 11:00am. October 8 - December 12
$30 Ridgewood residents/$75 all others

Cultural English 

Up to 10 students/class; Intermediate+

Concentrating on the essentials of reading, writing, speaking & listening.

Class meets once a week for 8 weeks.

Wednesdays, 7:00 - 8:30pm. October 9 - December 11
$15 Ridgewood residents/$40 all others

One-time registration fee:
$10/Ridgewood resident; $20/Visitor.
Additional fees apply depending on class placement.
