On Friday, December 31, we offered our
first party for young children to celebrate New Year’s customs
from around the world. 113 revelers (67 children and 46 adults)
were given passports, visited 7 different countries, listened to
stories, sang songs and after the countdown by Mayor
Aronsohn, had a toast with apple juice.

The Ridgewood Library’s Spanish conversation group got into the holiday spirit singing Christmas Carols.  Julia, our Spanish conversation volunteer, shared lyrics to popular villancios, or carols, including Feliz Navidad, Rodolfo El Reno (Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer), Cascabeles (Jingle Bells), Venid Fieles Todos (Oh, Come, All Ye Faithful), and many more...
