MacIntosh
We have just recently added an Apple iMac 17" which will be available to the public along with the PCs in the reference area. We hope that people will try it and let us know what they think. It will be equipped with unfiltered, high-speed Internet access and Microsoft Office Professional. It is currently utilizing our wireless network, so it is not connected to a printer. |
Using Sound on our PCs
To use the Sound on our Public PCs, you must bring your own headphones. On the table near the computer monitor, you will see a white audio cable. Just plug your headphones into this cable, and you will have sound. |
Connecting a device to our PCs
If you would like to connect a device, such as a USB flash drive, look for the gray cable on the tabletop near the monitor. You can plug your device directly into this cable. The computer should recognize your device, and you can save to it just as you can to any other disk drive. |
