James Rose was an iconoclastic landscape architect who, quite improbably, built his modern house and garden on a small plot in Ridgewood. It is featured in several of his books and today serves as the headquarters of The James Rose Center for Landscape Architectural Research and Design . Courtesy of the James Rose Center |
