VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Many volunteers are needed throughout the year to help with various fundraisers and activities. If you have time and would like to help, we invite you to attend a monthly board meeting, generally held on the second Wednesday of each month from September through June. Or please call 201-670-5600, ext. 180. If you are unable to volunteer, your membership is just as important!

FRIENDS SPONSORED EVENTS

Each year, Friends of the Ridgewood Library sponsors several fund-raising and social events, including the Author Luncheon. Past authors have included Mary Higgins Clark, Caroline Kennedy, Charles Kuralt, Grace Mirabella, Joyce Carol Oates, Anita Shreve, and Ursula Hegi.

In addition, Friends supports library programs such as Family Fun Nights, book discussion groups, and the popular Concert Series. The Reading Marathon is held every February which raises money for the Children's Room in the library while encouraging children to read.
